2018 GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

#BFit: Interval/circuit training using TRX, Bosu, battle rope, weights, and more! Use’em all until you sweat!

Body Blitz: Cardio blocks with intensity options and resistance training taught interval style. Studies indicate that interval training is one of the best calorie burning workouts!

Cardio Blast: Blast your cardio fitness with this high energy aerobic class. A mix of calisthenics, body weight, and rhythmic movements to get your heart pumping.

Cross Train Intervals: A circuit training class combining resistance and cardio delivering a total body workout. Dumbbells, tubing, Body Bars, and TRX are some of our tools for this multi-level class.

Dance Movements and Rhythms: Feel like you have two left feet these days? Is your balance off, flexibility limited, weight up and brain foggy? Come join us for a fun way to improve all of this. The class will include stretching, a light ballet barre, basic dance movements and patterns set to music. Step kick, step cross, reach reach cha cha cha. Try a new approach to enhancing the cognitive with the physical and have a great time doing it. Dance inspired moves from line dancing to basic ballroom.

Forever Fit: Aerobic and functional fitness (seated or standing) based on the Ageless Grace program. (Seasonal)

Group Cycle: Enjoy this indoor cycling ride by pushing your limits through the energetic, inspirational, results oriented music. Challenge yourself with intervals and intense drills that are choreographed specifically to work with the highs and lows in the music.

Healthy Back: A gentle, balanced workout with the focus on strengthening the core abdominals that do so much to support your back, improve the quality of your movements and keep your spine flexible and strong.

Mat Pilates: Controlled core work based on the principles of Joseph Pilates that blend strength and flexibility. (Seasonal)

Muscle Madness: Shape and sculpt your muscles with a total strength training workout. Various equipment is used. 

PiYo: A choreographed, dynamic movement class with a blend of Pilates and yoga. Please bring a yoga/pilates mat. 

Positively Yoga: Expand and deepen your practice with Vinyasa flow as well as holding poses for increased stamina and fine tuning. 

Ready, Set, Sweat: Non choreographed high/low aerobics finished off with upper and lower body and ab work.

Step Revolution: Intervals, Tap-less, Double Step, Circle Step, you name it and it will be here; a dynamic cardio class all the way thru! (no ab work). (Seasonal)

Strengthen and Lengthen: Strengthen your entire body in this class.  You will work on your upper body, lower body and core - no muscle will be missed!  Class will close with calm stretching and lengthening to increase your flexibility.

Tabata: Cardio and Resistance training “timed” to short bursts of intensity followed by “rest” periods.  All levels of fitness are invited to the challenge. 

Total Stretch: Standing, seated, and reclining stretching for total body. (Seasonal)

Yoga Dudes for Golf: Rotation, low back strengthening/stretching user friendly yoga poses.  
For men only.  (Seasonal)

Yoga Multi Level: Mind, body, and spirit unite through poses providing both strength and flexibility. 

 

AQUA CLASSES

Aqua Athletics: Athletic based movements that provide benefits for strengthening and lengthening muscles, and cardiovascular health for your daily sports and activities.

 

HydroPilates: Cardio, strengthening and stretching with focus on core work.
