 "My participation in the Living a Healthy Life Program ("LHL") followed by the Alumni Program along with my own personal work out sessions at the Fitness Center- all done over a fourteen week period this past season- resulted in my achieving a weight loss of 25+ pounds; a significant reduction in my body fat index; and a substantial improvement in my flexibility. I am not at a weight I haven't experienecd in more than 30 years.

It was a real pleasure to work with all of the personal trainers, including Sue, Heather, Joanne, Scott, and Jeannel, and also with Marti, our LHL team captain. Thanks to their work and encouragement, I was able to not only meet my initial personal goal of a 15 lb weight loss, but to actually exceed my initial goal by another 10+ lbs. I feel great and I am really much more energized. Never did I think that working out could be so much fun and rewarding. I ceratinly understand that when I return home in a couple of weeks that it is now my job to continue to work out on a regular basis and to stay the course in terms of eating "smarter". My body sensor/exerspy is now part of my daily wardrobe!

"I signed up for the LHL program to help me regain my strength and stamina after a two year fight with ovarian cancer. The program showed me where my weaknesses were, and the trainers helped me to work on those. It also taught me how to improve my diet to get back to optimum health.

 

After 8 weeks I was pleased to see measureable improvement. More than anything it gave me confidence to know I could still live a healthy life again. I'm still taking advantage of all that the fitness center has to offer, in order to not lose my new-found fitness.
