Birding Safari
Prepare to see just how extraordinary your community really is! Join us for a GARDEN SAFARI to capture views of the spectacular birds, butterflies, wild flowers and whatever else nature has in store right here in your own backyard. The focus will be on the visual AND auditory delights of the birds we encounter.
The outing will be led by an accomplished field docent, Steven Valdespino, M.A. Brown University, and founder of HAVE LECTURE WILL TRAVEL.
A life-long naturalist, teacher and raconteur, Steve’s energy, enthusiasm and erudition is guaranteed to make you glad you came. Those with binoculars or birding scopes are encouraged to bring them and Steve will make sure each is custom focused for your eyes. But no worries if not as a scope will be on hand as well as an assortment of nature field guides. See you there!
