The U.S. Space Force – A New Branch of Military Forces

In December 2019 the U.S. created a sixth branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.  Space Force is the first independent branch created since the U.S. Air Force was established in 1947.  What does it do and is it needed?  We will examine its mission and organization.  Topics will include pros and cons; history; mission, structure, cost and size; and leadership. Instructor: Thomas Eastwood
  • Online programs are typically 60 minutes of lecture with 15 minutes of Q&A at the END of the presentation. Students will be able to type questions into the system at any time during the presentation.
  • No software or downloads are required. Students can participate using a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
  • Enrollments for all April/May online programs may be limited as Renaissance Academy tests this new platform. Please be patient with us.
