Estero Fire Rescue is a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Community Training Center for the American Heart Association (AHA). Students are taught by certified AHA instructors on how the EMS system works and to recognize stroke, angina, heart attack and cardiac arrest. Techniques for CPR for adults, children and infants along with treatments of choking victims are also taught.
